Over the past few months we have been working on the release of a new look to our Arab Bank Australia brand. Following a subtle debut in 2019, the Bank has officially launched its new brand, abal banking.
As a financial institution in a competitive market, we at Arab Bank Australia are extremely proud of our growth and development and the recognition that our brand has established over 34 years in Australia. Our effort to maintain credibility and transparency is a key component of this ongoing growth, strengthened by our focus on continuous support of local initiatives and the wider Australian community.
It is important that you understand why we have made this introduction and what it means for you.
Why abal banking?
‘Abal’ represents an acronym of the Bank’s full trading name, Arab Bank Australia Limited, and is a play on the dictionary term ‘able’. We have summarised our mission as an organisation in three expressions:
- Reliabal - The Bank has a long history of excellence in customer service and support, with a unique ability to understand our customers’ needs, both individually and commercially.
- Responsabal – We take our responsibilities as a corporate citizen very seriously. We invest back into the communities we serve, supporting a range of not-for-profit organisations and local community initiatives, as well as taking great care to gain meaningful insight and understanding of our customer’s business ventures in order to better serve and support them. This extends to our responsible lending and ethical practice.
- Capabal - Over the past three decades, we’ve re-invested all of our profits into improving our systems, processes and distribution channels, as well as continually improving the expertise and capabilities of our service team.
Abal banking is a reflection of how we intend to service our customers and the community.
You can expect to see our abal banking logo across all our platforms including our website, arabbank.com.au; our mobile banking App abal.mobile; our online banking service abal.online; within our branches, and across our print and online marketing collateral.
